Today in this post I’m going to share Crispy Matar (Green Peas) Bonda / Pakodi Recipe with you all. This is a very unique and quick to make Indian Snacks Recipe. One can make them within 30 minutes and enjoy it with tea or coffee in any season. Since green peas are available all around the year, you can easily make this Bonda Recipe. No need to search for street food in your area for mouthwatering food. So lets get into detail on how to make Matar Bonda at home.
Ingredients
Take Green Peas, Onion, Ginger , Garlic and Green Chilli and grind it in a mixer / cutter but do not make fine paste. Now take gram flour, all purpose flour, rice flour, carom seeds, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, chaat masala and salt to taste in a bowl. Mix them well. Now slowly add water to it and make thick batter. Add baking soda to it and mix well again. Now add grinded green peas mixture to it and some coriander leaves and make thick batter. Now heat some cooking oil on medium to high flame for Matar Bonda to fry. Once the oil is warm, make small round balls from batter and deep fry them in the hot oil on medium to high flame until they turn golden brown.
