Spicy Green Chilli Pickle

Ingredients

  • Green Chilli : 500 gm
  • Garlic: 50 gm
  • Ginger: 100 gm
  • Ajwain: 1 Tbsp
  • Onion Seed: 1 Tsp
  • Fenugreek Seed: 1.5 Tsp
  • Fennel Seed: 1 Tbsp
  • Yellow Mustard Seed: 1 Tbsp
  • Mustard Oil
  • Dry Coriander Powder: 2 Tbsp
  • Mango Powder: 1 Tbsp
  • Hing: 1/4 Tsp
  • Turmeric Powder: 1 Tbsp
  • Salt: 2 Tbsp

Method

Step 1

Wash the green Chilli and remove its stem.

Step 2

Keep it in sunlight to dry for 3 to 4 hours.

Step 3

Also keep ginger and garlic in the sunlight to dry.

Step 4

Roast all the Masala for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame.

Step 5

Heat the mustard oil and let it cool for some time before using.

Step 6

Slice the Green Chilli from between so that Masala can easily reach inside the chilli.

Step 7

Grind Ginger and Garlic without using water and add it to the green chilli.

Step 8

Also grind the dry masala by adding coriander powder and mango powder and add it to the green chilli.

Step 9

Then add Hing, Turmeric powder and salt to the pickle.

Step 10

Add mustard oil and mix the pickle well.

Step 11

Green Chilli Pickle is ready to be served. Keep in sunlight for 2 to 3 days for better result.
